Please note the following revised (increased) substitute teacher rates for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year, effective October 21, 2022:

  • Day 1-15: $115/day
  • Day 16+ Cumulative: $140/day
  • Day 16-89 Consecutive (Category B Short Term Sub): $160/day
  • Building Substitute: $140/day

Certifications & Requirements

  • CLIU Guest Teacher Program

    The Guest Teacher Program is a service the CLIU offers to the community and our local school districts. Individuals who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college may apply to participate in the program. The program’s purpose is to provide quality substitute training to individuals with limited or no teaching experience.
