- Day 1 through Day 9 $115 per day
- Day 10+ Cumulative $140 per day
- 15+ Consecutive Days $200 per day (in a Single Assignment)
- Building Substitute $150 per day

- CLIU Guest Teacher Program
The Guest Teacher Program is a service the CLIU offers to the community and our local school districts. Individuals who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college may apply to participate in the program. The program’s purpose is to provide quality substitute training to individuals with limited or no teaching experience.

All Chaperones are required to submit the following (please utilize the links provided below):
- Volunteer Application
- Volunteer Acknowledgement and Statement of Confidentiality
- Act 34 – PA Access to Criminal History – Obtain a criminal record check online via PATCH (PA Access To Criminal History). Select “New Volunteer Record Check.”
- Act 151 – PA Child Welfare – select “Volunteer Having Contact with Children: Applying for the purpose of volunteering as an adult for an unpaid position as a volunteer with a child-care service, a school or a program, activity or service, as a person responsible for the child’s welfare or having direct volunteer contact with children.”
- Individuals who have lived in the state of PA for 10 or more years, please complete the following: Volunteer Affirmation Form OR
- Individuals who have lived in the state of PA less than 10 years, please register for a Volunteer FBI Background check utilizing the following link: Act 114 – FBI Clearance
Please submit all of the above to cgraver@carboncti.org. Once all items have been received and reviewed by administration, Joint Operating Committee approval is required. You will be contacted via e-mail upon approval.
