As noted last week, our building will be shut down through April 6, 2020, and we are anticipating an extended closure. There are still no office hours or public access to the building.
As you know, our staff has been providing educational materials and resources but no assignments were required or mandatory.
However, beginning Wednesday, April 1st, all CCTI students will be required to begin “Planned Instruction” to complete the fourth marking period. Effective Wednesday, April 1st , our 4th quarter will begin and all students are to begin planned instruction and will be required to complete all assignments from their instructors. The PowerSchool parent portal will reopen on Friday, April 3rd. Due to the unforeseen circumstances that occurred during the 3rd qtr., we will be reassessing and adjusting final grades for quarter 3.
All students will be learning from home through a series of structured activities that are teacher directed and graded. Please know that it is critical that students complete all assigned work to receive grades and credit. Grades will be posted in Powerschool. Your students instructors will give you information regarding the best ways and times to contact them regarding questions about assignments.
We understand that this is a challenging time for all, but we have been preparing instruction and establishing lines of communication with our students and families for the past two weeks and are ready to begin the next phase of learning.
As always, please continue to monitor our website for event cancellations and other important information. Please do not call or email school personnel regarding cancellations. The most updated information will be on our website or given through our voice messenger system. This message will be posted on our website and e-mailed to all of our students.
